Those who do not know the Gardé chess clock, a German product, need to learn that its wooden case is superbly crafted, that the clock mechanism is of superior quality, with a quiet tick, and that others' current catalogues list it at at least £59.95 plus delivery, so £44 + post (by cheque) or £44 (collected) is a fantastic snip!

Each clock is individually crafted, with the craftsman's initials stamped on the base. The smooth, silk varnish finish highlights a wide variety of interesting wood grains.
The Gardé chess clock is used in the World Chess Championship. The clock faces are protected by a single piece of glass. Its attractive carton displays colour photos of the clock.
